Curitiba-born Ricardo Zonta won the 1997 International Formula 3000 title and the 1998 FIA GT crown with Mercedes, earning Formula 1 drives with BAR, Jordan and Toyota. Back in Brazil he has collected 11 Stock Car wins, finishing championship runner-up in 2020, and races for Full Time Gazoo Racing.
