Takuma Sato

About Takuma

Tokyo-born Takuma Sato won the 2001 British F3 title with Carlin and raced in Formula 1 for Jordan, BAR and Super Aguri, scoring a podium at Indianapolis in 2004. Switching to IndyCar in 2010, he won the Indianapolis 500 twice, in 2017 with Andretti and 2020 with Rahal Letterman Lanigan, and remains a regular Indy 500 entrant.
