About Mattias

Born in Falun, Sweden in 1978, Ekström became an Audi touring car star, winning the DTM in 2004 and 2007 before clinching the 2016 World Rallycross title. Turning to rally-raids, he drove for Audi at the Dakar before joining Ford, where he finished third overall in both 2025 and 2026.
