Born in Benešov in 1989, Macík has been a Dakar truck regular since 2013, starting out in a LIAZ before switching to Iveco. After steadily climbing the order, including second in 2023, he won the truck class back-to-back in 2024 and 2025, and finished fourth in 2026 with his MM Technology squad.
