Fernando Alonso

About Fernando

Born in Oviedo, Alonso shone in karting and won the 1999 Euro Open by Nissan before reaching F1 with Minardi in 2001. With Renault he became a double world champion in 2005 and 2006, and away from F1 he has won Le Mans twice, the Daytona 24 Hours and the 2018-19 WEC crown. He now races for Aston Martin.
