Madrid-born González won the 2019 Supersport 300 world title before moving to Moto2, where he rode for MV Agusta, VR46 and Gresini. Runner-up in 2025 with Intact GP after four wins, he added five more victories in 2026 to lead the standings, and is set to stay with Intact in 2027.
