About Joan

Mallorcan Joan Mir rose through the Red Bull Rookies Cup to win the 2017 Moto3 world title with Leopard Racing. After a single Moto2 season he joined Suzuki in MotoGP and claimed the 2020 premier-class championship, the brand's first in two decades. He has ridden for Honda since 2023 and joins Gresini for 2027.
